Our New Zealand Venison is low in fat, low in calories and low in cholesterol. Venison is darker red and more richly flavored than beef. Farm-raised venison does not have the gamey taste of wild venison. Cook deer meat quickly over high heat and always serve rare or medium rare or it will become tough and chewy. Venison is best used as Venison roast, and is one of the best games meats. Often called deer meat, Venison provides the best of the wild game meats
The Duncan and Company production system, from raising the deer to processing the products, is aimed to produce an "All Natural" product. Deer graze free range, being fed additional feeds such as hay or grain when adverse weather conditions require it. No antibiotics are added to feedstuffs.
No Growth Promotants or Steroids
No Antibiotics
No GM Feeds
No genetically modified feeds are fed to the deer.
No meals made from animal products are fed to the deer.
No xylazine is administered to the deer during antler removal.
